Hi, I'm Alex, a freelance sports photographer and videographer based in London.

I've been behind a camera for over 15 years, building my skills and experience, and pointing a camera at some awesome sports.

I'm interested in covering sports events, shooting long-form content and creating content for your sports- or fitness-related business. I love to shoot all kinds of sports and love a challenge!

I run a YouTube channel called Aperture BMX which focuses on BMX racing. I've ridden BMX bikes since I was 4 and love the sport, but more so the community around it. My work relating to the channel has featured on regional television, in short film and in newspapers.

I'm also a bit of a techy person, the guy people come to when they need computer help! I could spend all day experimenting with codecs and figuring out the best FFMPEG settings to make a video look great (but try not to — that's a deep rabbit hole!). I'm definitely in favour of AI, and prefer to work with it, not against it.

Aside from cameras and editing, I've played the drums for over 20 years and my all-time favourite song is "Never Can Say Goodbye" by The Communards. I'm also a long-time gamer and have owned every single SEGA console at some point, as well as a bunch of others.

let's get going on a new project...
